Sustainable Farming

A hands-on introduction to small-scale sustainable farming. You’ll spend time in the fields each day, learning how to read the soil, prepare beds, manage pests ideally without chemicals (though moderate chemical or organic spray use is sometimes appropriate), and plan a productive seasonal garden. This program is grounded in the principles we use on our own farm in Clifton, Tennessee.
